Domaine Au Martin 1982 / Darroze
From a small domaine of just 3.5 hectares planted with 50 year-old Baco vines and some 20 year-old Colombard. Owner M. Guy Deyres distills to 53%, so this has lost very little alcohol despite many years ageing.

Darroze Armagnacs
“One has never really tried an Armagnac until trying those of Francis Darroze" - Robert Parker

It was in 1974 that Francis Darroze started his business as a trader and producer of vintage Bas-Armagnacs.  For this he relied on years of experience, tasting, and visits to the ageing cellars of Bas-Armagnac, the sub-region of Armagnac where the most rich, complex and interesting spirits are produced.

He rapidly acquired a national and international reputation for quality and integrity:  all the Armagnacs age in their own barrels and are never blended together or reduced with water to ensure that they retain their true character in the glass.  In addition, no caramel or any other colouring agents are ever added to the pure eaux-de-vie.

Darroze Armagnacs are served at all the three-star Michelin restaurants in France, as well as many other famous restaurants across the country. In their home country their reputation as the ne plus ultras of Armagnac is unquestioned.  We are delighted to be able to offer these stunning spirits to our customers.
