Tasting Notes:
Tasting notes by Billy A

Nose: Spicy with umami richness. More savoury than the VSOP, with an underlying caramel brittle note.

Palate: Very soft and easy drinking. Sweet fruit, a pinch of salt and pepper and a little bit of woody spice. With a cube of ice, sweetness and fruit are amplified, but it is a delicate spirit and doesn't need much dilution - drink with a large block, take the ice out after the cognac has chilled, or just add a few drops of iced water to chill and gently dilute.

Finish: Sweet fruit, gentle oak spice and sour grape touches.

Had a bottle of this bought through work. Exceptional, finishes well, lovely and fruity without the harsh aftermath. Much love to the remy martin producers....

Ordered a bottle of this for Christmas through TWE. Up to this point had only drank supermarket foder and thought I would see if there was a real difference before maybe splashing out for an XO with 3 figure price tag. This was way beyond what I was expecting, smooth and almost summery taste (whole bottle gone by boxing day), maybe I will stick with this for a while before paying XO prices.

Fantastic... set an hour or so aside and drink this with a romeo y juliat churchill cigar, both incredibly smooth with a good blanced flavour. They will complement each other very well.

was down in cognac this stuff was 50 euros in the shop(remy martin disstilery) which makes me wonder how they can sell it cheaper here.

I drink a lot of brandy, this one is so smooth, hard to beat at the price. The packaging matches the taste. A fine cognac.

Very smooth and enjoyable. Would seriously recommend at the price. I also think the bottle looks great but agree with above that they should replace the label with print.

Product is fine. Get rid of that UGLY label. It should be printed in GOLD like Remy Martin Extra, you would have a better looking bottel. For the price you have an exelent product. "S"

Exellent product, very smooth, good ballance. No packagin, just botell on shelf. It would be more atracting if it came in a nice box, but like the man said its the flvor thats important, highly recomended. I would gladly pay $100.

A mix of different ages, who cares - isn't the flavour the most important thing?

Beautifully packaged, I doubt very much that there is a better cognac under £50. Very smooth, refined delicate flavour just sit back and enjoy!

how canI buy this production
- HUY LE, 21st Nov '09
Bridges a much needed gap between VSOP and XO, those wanting to avoid the harshness of cheap cognac should give this one a try. A drink becoming extremely popular and the constantly rising price of Coeur de Cognac reflects on the true demand of an otherwise fine product.
