Macallan Amber Whisky Liqueur

So we thought that our whisky liqueur experience had peaked with the Old Pultney, Lochan Ora and New JD. Well that was until we tried this, maple, pecan it's superb. A cut above all else. Buy while you can!

Bought this lovely little drop a few years ago on holiday, its one of the finest liquer whiskey's I have ever tasted. Can't buy in Australia but luckily found The Whiskey Exchange.

I absolutely love this. Perfect for those with a sweet tooth. I'm planning to try it with pancakes or waffles! Fantastic stuff. Wish it wasn't discontinued.

first tasted this at the famous grouse factory in scotland cant get enough of it.only my wife has cottened on now so it dont last as long..will soon be bying much more ...luv it...

Would you believe my wife worked for Macallan. Amber was on the staff price list until 3 months ago. She told me there was plenty and no need to order any until I ran out. Now, guess what, they ran out and she has now left the company. Down to my last 2 cases. boo hoo . I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!

Found several bottles in the SF Bay area last December (2009). Mostly in the San Mateo and South San Francisco area. Try some of the out of the way liquor stores (like I did). You might get lucky. I sure did, bought all 4 bottles that I could find. Still have 3 left, savoring every drop.

Being a lover of Macallan I recently ordered a bottle out of curiosity from the Whisky Exchange. Drambuie has always been too thick and sweet but enjoyable as a rusty nail. But Amber is nectar unbelievable and complete, I must order some more before it dissapears

Just received the case we ordered through a friend in the US, since you're unable to deliver to Canada. I am a scotch lover, but this brings my love affair to new heights. We may have to order more just to ensure a supply for a while to come!

Alas, alack, anon...Please do not say that there be no more Amber. A wee dram of sweet heaven in a glass, has you thinking of pecan ice cream, adding to apple pie (hic), and various other methods of indulgence. Please bring back this wonderful piece of Speyside.

J'ai gouter le Amber Macallan dans un restaurant haute gamme. J'ai vraiment apprecie ce gout raffine. J'ai donc achete plusieurs bouteilles et fait deguster a nos amis, tous unanimes. Very sad. Have just learned of the demise of short lived Amber. Truly the best liqueur ever. I believe that after numerous phone calls we have just procured the last bottle in the Twin Cities area. Much to my dismay. Had I known that it would be discontinued I would not have shared it so freely with my friends. Please bring it back. I will give you a lifetime order. Or at least find me a case that I can horde!

Simply the best liqueur! Luckily, Seattle was one of the test markets when Amber was first introduced and after buying a bottle I raved about its qualities. Then bought another as a Christmas gift to the Phoenix area. When my family visited during the July 4th weekend they hoped to buy more here since it was unavailable there. Sadly, we discovered no one had any and I have now learned it is discontinued!. How is it possible that Macallan decided to cease production of what could have been a classic liqueur among the other greats? The reasons for this decision would have to be very, very compelling me for to understand why. Entirely my mistake not to remain informed and let this event slip my notice. Please, please return this marvelous brew back to its adoring, discriminating fans!!
