On the nose we find fruitcake, raisins, honey, crystallised ginger, orange marmalade, mixed peel, heather and cake spices like cinnamon and clove.  The palate is medium-full and silkily-texured and continues with the flavours from the nose all on a base of polished oak, leading to a very smooth, long finish.

Einer der Besten Malts die ich je getrunken habe.Allein der Geruch der aus der Flasche str?mt ist der Hammer vom Geschmack ganz zu schweigen.

This was my first single malt, and I must say. I havn't tasted anything with such a rich palate. And the nose is just, quote "Yum yum". I have been catching my self sniffing the bottle a couple of times. For me, a must have on the shelf.
