Another gem from our stash of Aultmore, this 1992 15yo is a vatting of three ex-Bourbon barrels, and is dry with a fresh, intense maltiness. Received 90.5 points from Jim Murray, who called it "a sublime, outwardly simplistic, cleverly understated dram".

Nose:  Honeysuckle, spice and some woody notes. Golden syrup; brazil nuts, almond and a hint of milk chocolate.  Gets increasingly nutty with time.

Palate:  Prominent oak, citrussy medium-full body and a luscious creamy texture. Nuttiness and a vanilla & white chocolate palate, with some pepper in the middle.

Finish:  Fades slowly, with oak and spices lingering.
