Difficult to believe that this is from the same distillery as the unfortunate 10 yo bottling from the dark days of Seagram ownership. This is another matter altogether: rich exotic fruit, drying oak tannins and a whack of fruity rum sweetness.

Bottler's Tasting Notes

With an immediate nose of Caribbean fruits and spices, this Glen Keith has a definite and unique Rum influence; coconut and pineapple linger alongside tobacco and late smoke.

The mid-weighted body leads to a palate more akin to a sherry casked malt, being herbal and dry before developing into menthol and clove with a distinct tobacco quality. 

The finish lingers, with a dry smoked spiciness and late peat.
