Tasting Notes:
Tasting Notes by TF

Nose:  Rich, sweet and lively.  An array of rounded sweetie-like flavours (Jellytots?!), with melted brown sugar and raisins ponting to a relatively subtle sherry influence.  A good quality refill cask?  With time, apple pie, fruitcake and mocha notes tentatively emerge.

Palate:  Full and rich.  Honeyed oat sweetness, mouthcoating spices, quite hot with some dust and wet cardboard initially.  The spices continue mid-palate with baked fruit and Christmas cake hovering in the background.

Finish:  Lingering spice and heat, oak presence becoming more obvious.
