A Dalwhinnie-based deluxe blend launched by Diageo in Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia and duty-free markets in Latin America "to deliver enhanced margin by targeting the premiumisation trend", it says here. Best In Class at the International Wines and Spirits Competition 2006.
Very smooth, very light on the palate, nice peat taste, light to mild smoky finish. I feel in love with it after my first sip, bought a bottle the next day. @Tony. I wouldn't say its better than blue. But I will argue a equal, each is bold in there on way, both blended whiskey, I have other great in my collection but if you handed me a glass I wouldn't care which one you gave me.
