A young Ardbeg produced while the Islay distillery was in a difficult period - running at only one third of capacity, they still managed to knock out epic fruity, honeyed, peaty crackers like this. These rum finished ones are particularly good.

Tasting Notes:
Bottler's Tasting Notes

Nose:  Round, full of jammy sweetness, with distinct phenols.

Palate:  Mouth-coatingly sweet, with oily, ashy, peaty character.

Finish:  Dry, smoked, tarry and still phenolic.
