A bottle of the famous Italian grape brandy Vecchia Romagna - one of Italy's best-selling spirits and a historic brand that's been around for a very long time. Vecchia Romagna is distilled from the Trebbiano grape, known as Ugni Blanc in France - where it is the base grape for almost all of the world's best Cognacs.
Discovered this in Berlin, of all places! If you like Metaxa, you'll love this!

Not exactly the best brandy in the world. But for me I like the fact that it's one of very few Italian Brandy's It has a more Spanish feel to it rather than the typical French stuff and mixes well in cocktails. Makes a rather nice Manhatten-esk drink using the Italian Amoro.
