Japanese Blended Malt Whisky
The previous whiskies that Nikka have produced under the Taketsuru label have been vatted - sorry, 'blended' - malts from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyou distilleries, and we have no reason to believe any different of this one, since Japanese distilleries tend not to swap stock with each other. The 21 yo Taketsuru Pure Malt won the 'World's Best Blended Malt' at the World Whisky Awards in 2007.

This is really an fantastic Nikka! If your à fan of yoichi and miyagikyo you Will Love this! If you have had the chance to try Karuizawa 1967 you Will find similarity. Old cognac, leather, coffe, chocolate, Tobaco and sweet plums.Ahhh it really makes me drool... Gotta order another bottle so keep one in stock for me sukhinder!94p
