The third batch of Caol Ila 8yo made with unpeated barley - although previous expressions still had an unmistakeably smoky tang about them. Bottled again at extremely high strength.

I won't go into great depths here, I suppose you can read Jim Murray's review if you want detailed notes. I just want to confirm what an outstanding malt this is. As an Islay lover, I'd almost overlooked this expression - UNPEATED Caol Ila? Why bother? But please, do yourself and you friends a favour and get a bottle of this. It's a real eye opener!
