A nose of oranges, cloves and burnt vanilla candles and a lovely feel in the mouth. Rich, a touch spicy and just the right weight. Typically oily too. An awesome Speysider, made in particular way that I don't fully understand but that I do fully appreciate! Under rated indeed. Only 58% but hits much harder; a real brick-in-a-velvet-glove whisky, as most Elgins are/
