Bruichladdich 16 Year Old / Bourbon Cask

Somehow very explosive, this malt is totally delicious, from the nose to the gut! I'm glad i found it in Canada! Bourbon cask is a good alternative for those who are still not ready for peated malts

This shows you how good this Distillery can and should be. It is without question the best of the current 'Laddies - wonderful balance of oak and malt at a great price. Come on Mark and Jim enough of the quick fixes and mad marketing let us have more quality drams such as this.

Bought in Ghent after the show to enjoy the blessed way home and made. Indeed, back to basics but very appreciated

A delightful malt - a classic Bruichladdich without the "distraction" of the now almost bewildering number of different finishes, a back to basics malt. My only complaint is the packaging: to someone unfamiliar with whisky it suggests that a Bourbon cask is something special or different for a Scotch malt!

utterly mouthwatering. im a sensible single malt drinker and i always have one of a night. with this malt, being so utterly delicious its difficult to leave ity at just the one glass.
