N: Intense honeycomb, with some aromas reminiscent of a mature dessert wine. A very syrupy, honeyed affair that develops a residual toastiness and notes of vanilla, cream soda, dough, soda farl (like a flouriness to the barley) and fresh-cut flowers. Becomes very meadowy with time, although the sweetness is also ever-present.
P: Fine-grained oak, then the honeyed barley floods in, coming in waves alongside the woodiness. A pronounced tweediness alongside the oak, and late waxiness.
F: Some salt and wet leaves alongside honey, beeswax, polished malt and oak.
C: The palate isn't as sweet as the nose, with more spicy wood influence. Becomes waxy with water.
