Citrus fruit and oak jump at the nose. The taste is sharp and full, retsina and pine with honeyed softness on the edges, a great taste for a lower peat whisky. The finish leaves me wanting more - a bit of oil, oak, really ripe banana, vanilla. Music companions: First dram, Sibelius 'String Quartet Opus 56'. Second, KT Tunstall 'Eye to the Telescope'. This is a cask to enjoy!
