A recent Benriach 16yo that has dispensed with the Latin naming system, this has been finished in Sauternes. The standard issue 16yo is a terrific dram, so this should be very interesting.

Fantastic. I have almost finnished the first bottle and I have two moore to enjoy. This is without question THE BEST whisky I have ever tasted. Apricot, vanilla, sultans, buttercream (Werthers) and joy. I float away into whisky wonderland when I put the glas 2 cm below my nose and inhale the aroma of pure plessure. And then when I take a zip and let it fly around in my mouth I?m in heaven.

Just great, one of the best Sauternes finished whiskies ever:Nose: Gristy notes; almonds/marzipan, vivid ripe apricots and sherried.Palate: Thick and chewy, with a supple depth. Refined fruitness, intense vanilla and oaky spices.Finish: sherried fruits, peppery smoke.
