A very unusual whiskey from the US - Stranahan's Colorado Straight Whiskey is the first (legal) whiskey to be made in the Rocky Mountains from malted barley in a bizarre pot/column still combo. The cool wraparound labels are signed by the distiller, known only as Jake.

This is truly excellent. Has a very sweet almost chocolate aroma to it. Wonderfully complex and moreish. You will buy it again.

Wow, first time ever I taste this and it´s good. Pear, aprikot and vanilla, also like a toffee or a cream.
