A legendary bottling of Bowmore bottled in 1979 to celebrate the distillery's bicentenary. Vatted from some phenomenal 1960s sherry casks, this is renowned by aficionados as one of the best Bowmore's ever - at a fraction of the pricetags commanded by the likes of Black Bowmore.
Glad to hear I have something worth keeping. I used to be a Pub owner here in Malta and a good friend of mine gave me one of these a long time ago and said save this for a very very special occasion. Looks like he was right :) . Anyway its still boxed and the bottle is still sealed, I think its going to stay that way for a while. Or maybe its an Ebay item ?

Believe it or not, I bought this bottle at a flea market here in Japan for $10 ! Someone had received it as a gift 25 years ago and just wanted to get rid of it. I kid you not ! It tastes fantastic, with deep color and flavor. You can taste the history. Lucky me !
