Looks good going to have a bottle for christmas. Quercus robur is English oak ! Quercus is the genus and robur is the exact species within genus. robur means hard wood / strength in latin.

Bought this at Malaga Duty free. It was already cheap but reduced again and i got a litre bottle for £32. Best whisky i've ever tasted

My Son-in-law (Paul Gallen) gave me this bottle as a present recently and I cracked it open to celebrate Rory McIlroys fab win of the US open.I am a malt fan and this is magnificent - my new favourite malt.

I am tee-total but bought this for my Bushmills drinking partner whilst passing through duty free at LAX. I thought the bottle and description looked interesting so bought it at a very good price. It's turned out to be a firm favourite and on the bulk-buy wish-list for my next trip through LAX.
