Just opened bottle number 627, and WOW, amazing taste! To Alan: Never buy a bottle whisky, if you don't intend to drink it!

Sorry, but when I tasted this one at the distillery (give it to them, they gave us 18 and 21 year old stuff) it tasted like sugary syrup and definitely not worth buying, drinking or collecting unless you like to use it as coffee syrup.

I tasted this back in March at Whiskylive, and i immediately fell in love with it. Buying a bottle at the show, i've been going back and forth as to whether i want to open it or just keep it given just the 697 bottles. Still pondering, but i know it would be worth it, outstanding taste and a wonderful colour.

We tasted this one at our 8/21/09 Tasting and it was the surprise of the evening. It was the last malt of 7 so our taste buds were shot but this one still came through with flying colors. Nose: Wine, dried fruit, dark chocolate, spicePalate: Port, stewed fruit, chocolate pudding, spiceFinish: Long, spice, apricotsRating: 4Very complex and much more going on there than I can pick up. Just gets better with every sip. One not to miss.
