i'm very surprised there is no reviews on this brandy, i have been quaffing back this stuff for years, its to my mind brilliant stuff, very smooth to the palate strong dark taste of rains with a long after taste, the glass must be very warm to bring out the soft tones, then just let it linger on the tongue, a sheer delight to the palate, i have just retured from spain with 4 bottles i'm in heaven, but you can get yours from above, cheers.

My fiance happened across this fine brandy at a friends house the other week - he is a brandy drinker who´s favourite brandy was Remi, but he has a new favourite now - Cardenal Mendoza. It is definately the nicest brandy he has ever had!

I came across this Brandy while I was in Spain this past June. It was the first of the many Spanish brandies I was able to try and for the price it was my favourite by far! It's definitely sweeter than the french brandies and I found the reviews to be much more positive from the guests I have served this brandy to. Posted By: Darren

I discovered this brandy in Tenerife - recommended by a maitre d'. It is so different from all other brandies in its darkness of flavour. There is a redolance and sweetness of raisin. A very warm baloon makes an immense difference to the drinking experience, releasing the perfumes and adding to the depth of flavour. I am a confirmed Hine man but, as a delightful change a "Drop of the Cardinal" is hard to beat. Posted By: Ian Hurdman
