You'll like this... NEW BLACK BOWMORE TO BE RELEASED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In October, a new Bowmore Black will be released, the "2nd Edition" (?? I thought there'd been three already, but it's not my party). The whisky is from the same 1964 vintage, and from the same batch of oloroso sherry casks as the original releases, but now older. At 42+ years, it will be interesting to see what this legendary malt will be like in comparison to the earlier versions. Hope it's still got legs - if the quality is anything like the previous versions, this will be the whisky event of the year. The last 1964 oloroso sherry cask was released as part of the Trilogy Series back in 2000. The retail price of this new BB will be around £1800.00 inc-vat. We are accepting reserve orders now, but obviously we can only confirm your order once we have the stock, so we will allocate on a 'first come, least likely to be crying into their cornflakes' basis.
