The new releases are coming thick and fast now that (whisper it) Christmas is almost upon us. We've tons of exciting new stuff streaming into the warehouse on a daily basis, so check this page regularly or subscribe to our new products RSS feed if you don't want to miss out. Mostly independent bottlings in this crop, including a big batch of recent bottlings from G&M, plus some interesting stuff from Adelphi and Signatory. Distillery bottlings include a brace of Bruichladdichs, plus a vintage Arran, an old Glencadam and a couple of tasty-looking numbers from Tomintoul - not to mention a couple of single casks from Nikka's Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries.

Another crop of new releases - this is a busy week! Highlights this time include the latest releases from Buffalo Trace's Antique Collection, a brace of sherried Dalmores, a 'profoundly peated' Isle of Jura and more than few interesting releases from Gordon & Macphail. We also have a quartet of bottlings from England's St. George's distillery, with peated and unpeated expressions of the new make spirit as well as malt that has had just under two years ageing, plus an aged expression of Milford from new Zealand's defunct Willowbank distillery. An eclectic selection and no mistake - enjoy.

Lots of TWE-exclusive goodies today, with a slew of our own bottlings included in the first instalment of this week's round-up. And what bottlings they are... For Islayphiles, not only do we have the latest additions to the Elements of Islay series (this time Ar2 and Lg1), there's also the new Port Askaig 30yo and the last few bottles of The Whisky Show Port Ellen 1979! Meanwhile, for Japanese whisky fans and the sherryheads there's the sumptuous first-fill sherry cask Karuizawa 1982, not to mention the long-awaited 1967 42yo at an impressive 58.4%. The latter of this stunning pair is on one bottle per customer due to phenomenal pre-release demand. Last but not least, we've got our Whisky Show 1966 43yo sherry cask Speysider from That-Independent-Family-Owned-Speyside-Distillery-That's-Really-Good-But-We're-Not-Allowed-To-Say-Who-They-Are-'Cos-They-Don't-Like-It-Even-Though-Everyone-Always-Knows-Anyway. This splendid 'Farc-er has been bottled especially for The Whisky Show by our friends at Douglas Laing.

A string of new releases from Bladnoch this week, with the exciting inclusion of an 8yo - made entirely with the new spirit distilled since Raymond Armstrong recommenced operations at the distillery that many thought was gone for good. As well as the annual Bell's Christmas Decanter - yes, they still make them - and a rather smart set of Springbank quarter-bottles, we also have two very special TWE bottlings for you! The first is the latest addition to our award-winning Elements of Islay range. Following the remarkable success of Pe1, which sold out in only a few weeks, we've brought forward the newest release - the splendid Br1. This single malt hails from a prolific distillery with a tendency towards augmenting the character of its spirit by re-racking into wine barrels - however, we think that this Br1 release is ACE all by itself: as with the rest of the Elements range, we've married our casks together to create a malt that we feel truly represents the character of this great distillery. The other new release from TWE this week is the second of our celebratory 10th Anniversary bottlings - a very special Longmorn 1969. This single cask 39 year-old has been bottled from a single refill sherry butt at full cask strength especially for us by our friends at Gordon & Macphail and shows an extraordinary intensity of sherry-oak flavours alongside the citrussy complexity that characterises Longmorn, one of our favourite Speyside distilleries. Finally, we have a trio of 'others', this week including a sherry-matured Yamazaki, a Berry Bros. St. Magdalene and the latest Port Ellen from Douglas Laing. Slainte! PLEASE NOTE THAT THE WHISKY EXCHANGE'S DELIVERIES ARE MADE BY A COURIER COMPANY AND ARE UNAFFECTED BY THE POSTAL STRIKE IN THE UK.
