It's Last Vatted Malt Day!! From 23rd November 2011, it will be illegal to label a whisky as 'vatted' malt or grain: instead, everyone has to use the 'blended malt' or 'blended grain' terms from now on. Compass Box and TWE have teamed up to pay tribute to the passing of this small but significant piece of whisky terminology, creating a commemorative bottling: the Last Vatted Malt.
