1986 Vintage Whisky

A very pale single cask bottling of heavily-peated Benriach from 1986.

A 1986 vintage whisky from Glen Garioch, revitalised in the 2000s and now getting the recognition that it deserves. This was aged for 25 years in a refill hogshead before bottling in late 2011 by Douglas Laing for their Old Malt Cask range - kudos to them for unearthing this little gem, as independent Glen Gariochs are rarer than hen's teeth.
