A 1987 single cask distillery bottling from Highland favourites Balblair. This goes with their usual strategy of naming the whisky's vintage but tweaks the idea by making it a cask strength single cask bottling. It is from a sister cask of a much vaunted Maison du Whisky bottling from the late 00's and promises to be both fruity and delightful.
The Glenfarclas Family Casks series is a new range of vintage casks from one of
Speyside's best distilleries. All but three of the range (1952, 1979 & 1984)
are from first fill or refill sherry casks.
An explosion of peat, herbs, pepper and spices, this is a high-strength Longrow from Samaroli's legendary batch of 1987 vintage casks. Bottled in 1999 to celebrate the Millennium.
A snazzy bottling of 1987 vintage Glenmorangie with a fancy box and some time finishing in casks that previously held wine from chateau Margaux. A must for collectors of Glenmorangie.
