2002 Vintage Whisky

A 2012 release of 2002 vintage whisky from indie lowlander Bladnoch, bottled at a healthy 55.7%.

The first release of Balblair's latest entry level single malt, this time from the 2002 vintage. This is a soft and creamy introduction to the world of Balblair, with a nice fruitiness.

A 10 year old Straight from the Cask Edradour, finished in red wine casks and coloured a deep bronze thanks to the wood. It was distilled on May 28th 2002, matured in hoghseads until February 28th 2011 and then moved into a Chateauneuf du Pape hogshead until November 21st 2012, when it was bottled.

A small batch vatting of 2002 vintage whisky from Benromach, a mix of just three first fill bourbon barrels bottled at cask strength in September 2012 by the distillery.

A 2002 vintage Edradour, distilled on 26th March 2002, initially matured in a hogshead until 28th February 2011 and then finished in a Marsala hogshead until 3rd July 2012.

A Burgundy finished 10 year old Edradour, distilled on March 26th 2002, matured in a hogshead until February 28th 2011, moved to a Burgundy hogshead and then bottled on January 9th 2013.

A 10 year old Edradour finished in Chateauneuf du Pape casks. Distilled on 26th March 2002, matured in a hogshead until 28th February 2011 and then finished off in a wine cask until 1st February 2013.

A full sherry matured whisky from Edradour, aged for 10 years in a butt. Distilled on 13th December 2002 and bottled on February 18th 2013.

A richly coloured Edradour, finished in a red wine cask as part of its 10 years of maturation. Distilled on 28th May 2002, matured in a hogshead until 28th February 2011 and then finished in a Barolo hoggie until bottling on 10th January 2013.

A 2002 vintage whisky from Murray McDavid, matured initially in bourbon casks before being switched over to red wine casks from Chateau Latour, one of the top producers of Bordeaux, for a total of 8 years of maturation.

The companion to Buffalo Trace's experimental 'Made with Oats' bottling, using a proportion of rice in the mashbill along with the traditional corn and malted barley.

A 2002 vintage whisky from Nikka's Miyagikyo distillery, bottled in July 2012 from a single refill sherry butt.
