The first release of Balblair's latest entry level single malt, this time from the 2002 vintage. This is a soft and creamy introduction to the world of Balblair, with a nice fruitiness.
A 10 year old Straight from the Cask Edradour, finished in red wine casks and coloured a deep bronze thanks to the wood. It was distilled on May 28th 2002, matured in hoghseads until February 28th 2011 and then moved into a Chateauneuf du Pape hogshead until November 21st 2012, when it was bottled.
A small batch vatting of 2002 vintage whisky from Benromach, a mix of just three first fill bourbon barrels bottled at cask strength in September 2012 by the distillery.

A 2002 vintage whisky from Murray McDavid, matured initially in bourbon casks before being switched over to red wine casks from Chateau Latour, one of the top producers of Bordeaux, for a total of 8 years of maturation.
