The first batch of Edradour's 2006 vintage matured full-term in hogsheads which used to hold Supertuscan wine. Distilled in March and April, it was aged for around eight years before being bottled in April 2014.
A 2006 vintage Bunnahabhain from well established independent bottlers Berry Brothers & Rudd. This may have been bottled at just 7 years of age, but is certainly mature in its complexity and is a delicious example of young peated Bunnahabhain.
A single cask 2006 vintage Edradour, selected by The Whisky Exchange in early 2013 and bottled by the distillery at 7 years of age. While visiting the distillery we tried a number of their single casks and were shocked at the depth of flavour they'd manage to get into this dram in such a short amount of time - fresh and zesty with a solid oloroso sherry wood backbone.
