Following the dissolution of The Whisky Show partnership with GW Publishing, The Whisky Exchange is taking the Whisky Show concept forward with a new premium whisky tasting event. The new event is called The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show and will be held in Vinopolis, near London's famous Borough Market, on 7th-8th October 2011.
- The Ultra-Premium Dram concept from previous Whisky Shows has been upgraded for 2011. On arrival, all visitors will receive TWO Dream Dram tokens which can be exchanged for some of the greatest whiskies from our exhibitors' ranges. Customers will also be able to buy Bonus Dream Dram tokens, with the money collected from these extra tokens going back to exhibitors after the Show.
- In addition, following the massive success of last year's Food-Pairing room at The Whisky Show, this year we will have an expanded Food-Pairing area in Vinopolis's beautiful Academia room. This atmospheric space will feature innovative food matches designed by whisky & food expert Martine Nouet, using produce from Borough Market. Expect great whiskies matched with a variety of cheese, chocolate and much more.
- As in previous events, there will be no voucher system at The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show - all exhibited samples are free with our all-inclusive ticket. In addition, each visitor will receive a hearty two-course meal in the Show Brasserie, and can sample delicious cocktails and all the lip-smacking food pairings completely free of charge.
- We will also be continuing to stage some of the most exclusive and ambitious Masterclasses ever seen in the UK, with themed tastings and amazing old bottlings alongside some of the rarest and most expensive whiskies from several blue-chip distilleries.
- Tickets for Masterclasses will go on sale nearer the event. Masterclass tickets are sold separately and may only be attended by Show ticketholders.
- All products exhibited at the Show will be available to purchase on the day from The Whisky Exchange's permanent retail shop in Vinopolis.
