This once exclusive gift to the Master Distiller himself is now available to all those who appreciate something truly unique.
Hand-selected and hand-filled, every bottle of Single Barrel bears its own barrel and rick number, and its bottling date.
Jack Daniel's Single Barrels are by their very nature unrepeatable. Yet although the nuances of flavour may vary from barrel to barrel, the quality always remains at the pinnacle of Tennessee whiskey. No two barrels are the same and each yields just 240 bottles.
Jack Daniel's Single Barrel is drawn from individual casks which offer subtle differences in nose, colour and taste. Bold, full bodied whiskey with heightened flavours of toasted oak, vanilla and caramel.
Winner of the 'Gold Medal American Whiskey' award at the Spirits Business - Spirit Masters Awards 2013
Nose: Rich and sweet-smelling with golden syrup, demerara sugar, polished and varnished old furniture, nougat, pleasing leafy herbs, fennel, liquorice and sugared almonds.
Palate: Spicy initially, followed by a wave of oak and honey; it becomes very leafy next, with the herbal notes in the background, before a secondary wave of sweet clove-flavoured rock and wood glue.
Finish: Great length, with a tingling herby spiciness and fading honeyed sweetness.
