We've managed to secure a small parcel of champagne from the outstanding 1989 vintage, and being generous souls we thought that we should share it with you! Champagne Trouillard is a Blanc de Blancs fizz, meaning that it has been made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes.
Extended bottle-ageing has given this champagne an intense brioche character, with the yeastiness sitting well alongside prominent Granny Smith green apple flavours.
