Mortlach / Bot.~1900s
75cl / 40%
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
An early 20th century bottle from the estate of Dr Alexander Mitchell Cowie, son of George Cowie who was the distillery licensee from 1854-1923. The family held a number of casks of Mortlach which were bottled, as this is, by Wm Sheed of Dufftown, whose name you can make out on the cork's wax seal.
The bottle is unlabelled, as seen in the picture, and has a driven cork with a wax seal.
