Veuve Clicquot's best selling Yellow Label Champagne, presented in a 'sardine tin' style gift box with 2 champagne flutes. With a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 20% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay, this is consistently excellent.
Composed of 50% Chardonnay and 50% Pinot Noir, balance, freshness and power are the essential qualities of the Jacquart's Brut de Nominée, which is this producer's prestige cuvée. A Gold Medal winner in both 2007 and 2008 from Decanter magazine's World Wine Awards.
The top expression of Bollinger's house style, La Grand Annéee is rich, full and rightly known as one of the world's greatest champagnes. 2004 was a great harvest, with high quality grapes and wines and lots of them - this will drink well already but will improve if cellared.
Only released in 2012, this is Pol Roger's entry into the market for the excellent 2002 vintage - commonly thought to be the best since the legendary 1990. Aged for 9 years in their deep, cool cellars it's rich and ripe already but ready for further aging.
A bottle of Pol Roger's white grape only Blanc de Blancs champagne from the 2002 harvest. A fantastic wine from a great vintage, although quite limited in production, its crisp fruit and hefty body make it a great match for delicately flavoured fish.
Please note this is limited to three bottles per customer.
A magnum bottle of the world leading non-vintage champagne from Moët & Chandon. Easy drinking and well balanced. The cépage is give or take one third each Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay and bottled with around 9 grams per litre of sugar.
Mumm de Cramant is a blanc de blancs (100% Chardonnay) champagne from a single vineyard which Mumm acquired in 1882. Mumm see this as historically important expression and the bottle is very much in the old-style with a folded corner label to reflect this. Delicious with seafood, or indeed fish and chips.
Cuvee Alpha is the replacement for the Nominée as the prestige cuvee in the Jacquart range. Launched in 2013, 2005 is the first vintage. A blend of 50% Grand Cru Pinot Noir and 50% Premier Cru Chardonnay, this will go fantastically well with sashimi or duck.
A delightful gift pack containing a bottle of Bollinger's non vintage rosé and two champagne flutes. The Champagne is a blend of 62% Pinot Noir, 24% Chardonnay and 14% Pinot Meunier. This would pair equally well with lobster, sushi or a strawberry tart.
Bollinger's Grande Annee Rosé 2004 is a blend of 68% Pinot Noir (6% of which is still red wine) and 32% Chardonnay. This is always a stunning pink fizz and the 2004 is no exception. Another fantastic effort from James Bond's champagne house of choice.
A specially formulated version of Moët's famed Imperial champagne that is great when served over ice. It's well balanced and fully flavoured like the regular Imperial but will retain its intensity and reveal rich fruit even when served with an ice cube. An interesting development in the world of summery fizz.
The 2004 vintage of Perrier Jouët's Belle Epoque prestige cuvee, always good and with beautiful presentation. A blend of 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier, this is an aromatic and rich champagne.
The 2006 vintage of Perrier Jouët's Belle Epoque prestige cuvee, always excellent and with beautiful presentation. A blend of 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Pinot Meunier, this is an aromatic and rich champagne.
