The first bottling of Bowmore's Tempest was one of our favourite whiskies of the year so far, and it looks like you all must have agreed - they've run out! Here's a new batch, which we're sure will be just as good.

What can I say, Batch 2 was great but I think Batch 3 is better. I recently bought both Batch 2 and 3, both are significantly different in nosing and pallet. At 56% you get the kick you're looking for from a smokey, peaty Islay Single Malt, definitely a favourite!

I'm not as exact as the people above - I'm just a guy who likes to drink whiskey. Bar far one of the best by Bowmore,(my grandfather worked at the distillery)perfect taste, not to acidic and warms the belly if camping, walking, golfing or watching the sopranos

I found the nose of this whisky pleasant but unusual with hints of creosote (my girlfriend says smoky bacon crisps). The body is strong with lots of smoke, peat and salt but the finish fades away quickly. A very distinctive whisky and well worth a try.

Probably my favourite Bowmore. Tasted it at the Distillery and I was immediately smitten. Please Bowmore, don't ever phase this out.

I can't believe how good this is. I'm almost finished with my first bottle and have another one lined up. Quite a bit of salt and peat but some nice fruit and a honeyed tone to it. Beautiful.
