Glen Moray 10 Year Old Reviews
Tasting Notes by Stuart P
Nose: Rich, oily butteriness blending with the taut oak.
Palate: Richly textured, full and weighty, with the buttery fruit well balanced against the clean fruity notes.
Finish: Well balanced, with no one aspect dominating. Very solid.
Tasting Notes by Rocky
Nose: Sweet, with notes of orange and a hint of butteriness in the background.
Palate: Sweet marmalade and butter (in keeping with the nose). The fruit-intensity, sweetness and alcohol are very well integrated.
Finish: Medium to long, rich and fruity, with plenty of that marmalade that has been a recurrent theme throughout.
Comment: Whiskies aged full-term in wine casks are pretty rare and those aged in white-wine casks even more so. The butteriness comes from these casks and, while it is an unusual trait in whisky, integrates well with the rest of the flavours. At this price, it’s another excellent-value whisky.

This scotch is very smooth easy to drink even for the lesser scotch drinkers out there absolutely superb can''t wait to buy another case. I love it .
this is actually bloody good for a ten year old single malt, good flavour with a slightly smokey finish, would definately buy it again.
very nice surprize.like the non age statement glen moray but this one is moving up a notch.a lot going on in this.malty sweet and anice finish.
I really like this one, reminds me very much of Glenmorangie Nectar D'or but at nearly half the price! Very sweet can definitely taste then white wine from the cask.Lovely whisky
I can definitely smell thsweet white wine in this one. A very nice dram over similar to Glenmorangie Nectar For but halt he price nearly. Excellent buy, very nice whisky.
I tend to find the stuff from Glen moray too sweet but this particular dram has a nice tangy edge to it, a touch of sweetness like butterscotch and a light fruit after taste. Well worth a try for a budget scotch.
Nice fruit an butterscotch flavour's. One to buy an drink again.
