A bottle of Luxardo's renowned Maraschino Liqueur. Made to the same recipe since the mid 19th century, this is made from sour marasca cherries and aged for two years in Finnish ash vats. We estimate this was bottled in the 1960s and has the same bottle with straw wrap-around that it does today.
Maraschino Liqueur Reviews
Nose: typical of marasca distillate, with an excellent intense aroma, fine and well amalgamated, without any aggressive note.
Taste: smooth but sharp, a sweet liqueur unusual for the punch of the distillate, which can be clearly perceived in spite of the moderate alcohol content. A rounded taste and a surprisingly persistent aroma.
