Customer Rating
A devilish twist on Jim Beam's regular bourbon, blending their 6 year old whiskey with spirit extracted from the wood of the cask itself, where it's soaked in over the years of maturation. This gives us a robust and hefty bourbon with a nice added chunk of woody richness.

One of my favorites, if not my favorite bourbon. The taste just hits the right spot for me.

Setting aside the marketing woo, this is a pretty good winter sipper, but definitely a seasonal drink rather than a year round go to. The predominant flavor is a black pepper spiciness, to the point of distraction. I imagine this was a poorly conceived late addition concieved as follows: "devil! fire! spicy! Let''s make a pepper whiskey!" Other than the pepper issue, it''s reasonably smooth, bit on the oaky side. It''s a far cry from a fine scotch, but a solidly drinkable mass market whiskey.

A very smooth and good bourbon, with a lot of hints of vanilla and oak, I recommend this bourbon straight and with some friends.

My favourite Jim Beam. I had the pleasure of drinking this with Fred Noe and his explanation of as kids, how they used to sweat the barrels to get every last drop out was great. Smooth and with a kick, could end up with jelly legs if not careful. Go get it now
