Glendronach 1968 'Recherche' Reviews

Tasting Notes

  • Producer's Note

Appearance: Dense antique mahogany with a cherry wood influence.

Nose: Lovely balance. Clean, fresh with remarkable fruitiness. Juicy sweet sultanas, dates and marrons glacés centrally positioned around a bitter chocolate heart.

Palate: Initial profile of freshly roasted coffee beans and a treacle tart character. This is succeeded with baked apples smothered with brown sugar. Brilliant structure
