A 1962 vintage grain whisky from North British distillery, which is sandwiched between the sporting venues of Heart of Midlothian FC's Tynecastle ground and Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh. North British 1962 Reviews
A powerful initial nose of sultanas, raisin, sherry and rhubarb with custard.
On the palate, a smooth, creamy, oaky taste with vanilla, custard coming to the fore. In the background, there is a slight leathery note of tasted nuts.
A long, dry finish with a sherry sweetness and oakiness.
