Aberlour A'bunadh Reviews
Colour: Deep rich amber.
Nose: Terrific aromas of allspice, praline and spiced orange, in harmony with deep notes of Oloroso Sherry.
Palate: Orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger, spiked with dark bitter chocolate and enriched with lingering Sherry and oak. Superlatively full bodied and creamy.
Finish: Robust and long lasting, with bittersweet notes of exotic spices, dark chocolate and oak.

It''s my favourite whisky so far :) I have around 16 bottles of various others of all sorts that I''ve tried and I keep coming back to this one, so it''s running low. I''m somewhat worried that the next batch I try won''t measure up if there is so much variation, but then again its all part of the fun of learning this stuff.
also get a lot of citrus after tones, very powerful abv suggest sip with tot of water!!! but boy what a cracker !!! sixth bottle of abunadh all different but pleasure to drink!!!!
I get a lot of citrus from this. Glad to see orange in the experts notes, makes me think I know what I'm doing :)
