Rum soaked cherries, oloroso, chewy dates and raisins, ground cloves. Throw in bitter 90% cocoa solids and a sprig of fresh mint. Bake this into a cake, wrap in parchment and leave in an old box with tobacco and toffees. That was the nose. Its all going on. Gentle melted fudge texture in the mouth, followed by sharp, intense spice from the oak. Its radioactive. Its painful, but in a masochistic way; you cannot help but go back for more. Not for the faint of heart.
