Tasting Notes by TF
Nose: Coal & soot, medicinal aromas, toasted cereal. Lightly peaty with faint whiff of kippers developing.
Palate: Medium-bodied. Coaldust, hint of citrus. Ginger and spices developing, trace of honey and boiled sweets.
Finish: Long. The coal and spice are to the fore but some pleasant sweet peat, grassy/hay notes and the cereal insinuate themselves into the mix.
Comment: A charmer with a terrific finish. Very more-ish.
