Producer's Tasting Notes
Nose: Zesty lemon attack, fades to grain & toasted cereal. Then orangey malt. Brioche, some apricot / peach esters, some grassiness, ginger, almond notes. Light and pleasant.
Palate: Spicy, a bit dusty at first. Medium-bodied, fairly rich, but there's a youthful edge, so slightly astringent.
Finish: Drying. Decent length, some nuttiness and appley fruit notes. Unfortunate hint of wet cardboard aftertaste.
Comment: Comes across as a work in progress. The balance isn't there quite yet, and there are a couple of off notes, but also plenty of encouraging signs and this is a perfectly acceptable blend for the money.

nice old taste with a nice aftertaste a bit citrus taste but nice whisky
I hesitate to buy, so if someone could comment on this "hint of wet cardboard aftertaste".I like lemony/citrussy whiskies so that's why this could be my target blend:)
