The 'D.E.W.' in Tullamore D.E.W. comes from the initials of a General Manager at the Tullamore distillery in the second half of the 19th century, named Daniel E. Williams. Tullamore D.E.W. is a brand of Irish whiskey produced by William Grant & Sons. It is the second largest selling brand of Irish whiskey globally.
