Today, the Old Bushmills Distillery, situated just a short drive from the Giant’s Causeway, a world heritage site, is Ireland's oldest working distillery, and the only one open to visitors.

At one time there were many hundreds of different Irish whiskeys. Over the years these have disappeared. Only Bushmills, the oldest and a handful of others have remained which is why we say “Bushmills – oldest because it is the best, not best because it is oldest.”

Another unique aspect of the Old Bushmills Distillery is that malt distilling, blending, maturation and bottling are all carried out on the same site.

Our passion for whiskey-making and our expertise in all stages of the whiskey production process are the critical factors in the quality and character of the Bushmills family of whiskeys and ensure that every bottle of Bushmills is Irish at its best.

Bushmills Original

Bushmills Original is the cornerstone of our family, a blend of our own triple distilled malt whiskey with a lighter Irish grain whiskey. It is a gentle whiskey with a rich, warming taste of fresh fruit, vanilla and honey.

Black Bush

With an intriguing flavour and a name to match, Black Bush is our special blend. Its secret lies in the generous proportion of malt whiskey matured in selected Oloroso Sherry casks, giving Black Bush its deep amber tone, dried fruit aromas and intense character.

Bushmills Malt 10 year old

Embodying the centuries-old traditions of distilling at Bushmills, this is one of the very few Irish malt whiskeys available. Each drop of Bushmills Malt is carefully distilled three times and is made from 100% malted barley.

Bushmills Malt 16 year old

Bushmills Malt 16 Year Old is a rare single malt Irish whiskey. With "Three Wood" maturation and finishing, a malt of distinction emerges, with a fullness of depth and flavour rarely found. This exceptional whiskey is matured for 16 years or more in a combination of American bourbon barrels and Spanish Oloroso sherry butts.

Bushmills Malt 21 year old

Bushmills Malt 21 Year Old is an extremely rare single malt Irish whiskey. Only a very limited number of bottles are available each year. It is matured in three different types of casks. The whiskey is first aged in American bourbon barrels and Spanish Oloroso sherry casks for 19 years and upwards. The malt whiskey is then vatted and married for another 2 years in Madeira drums.
