Louis Roederer Cristal Champagne was created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II and has had a reputation for outstanding quality ever since. Produced only in the best years, the blanc is a blend of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir, while the highly sought-after Cristal Rosé Champagne has a touch more Chardonnay. Released after six years of maturation, these wines will benefit from further ageing.
