Tonic Wine, Mead and Fruit Wine

Made at St. Aidan’s Winery on Holy Island, Lindisfarne has been making mead since 1968, but also offers a range of fruit wine. Mead making has been undertaken on the island since the days of mediaeval monks and is made from fermented grapes, with honey and herbs added, in line with the Roman method of making mead.
