How To Make It

Prep time: 
Egg Nog


  • 1 bottle Maker's Mark
  • 0.75 litres milk
  • 0.75 litres double cream
  • 16 eggs
  • 250g sugar
  • nutmeg
  • ice


  • glass


  1. Separate the eggs and beat the yolks until creamy
  2. Beat the sugar into the egg yolks
  3. Whisk the egg whites until they reach the soft-peak stage
  4. Beat the yolk-and-sugar mixture with the bourbon, then add the egg whites
  5. Beat the cream, add the milk to it then add both to the mixture
  6. Add nutmeg to taste
  7. Ladle into glasses
