Frapin 1993 / 22 Year Old Cognac / Exclusive to The Whisky Exchange
(2 Reviews)
We are proud to announce our first-ever TWE exclusive Cognac: a single-vintage bottling from the highly regarded house of Frapin. It's quite rare to see a single-vintage bottling of Cognac, but this takes thing a step further – it's a single cask. Aged for more than two decades, this really shows off the character of Grande Champagne, the most highly rated area in Cognac. Expect elegant notes of orchard fruit, intense spices and a rich, smooth mouthfeel; a Cognac we are proud to put our name to.

Benromach 15 Year Old
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
(32 Reviews)
Introduced to the Benromach line-up in 2015, this lusciously rich Speyside single malt is a fruity, chocolatey and lightly smoky dram that will delight fans of traditional styles. Matured in a mixture of ex-sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, with a greater emphasis on sherry than the Benromach 10 Year Old, this is a charming reflection of Speyside both past and present.

A Speyside Whisky 2001 / 20 Year Old / Sherry Cask / The Whisky Show 2021
Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky
A 2001 Speyside whisky from the 2021 Whisky Show bottlings, made at a mystery distillery and matured for two decades before being bottled. Full of character and flavour, this single malt's label celebrates the congeners – a blanket term for flavour compounds – that give whiskies like this one their complex characters and depth of flavour. Aromas of raisins, leafy bracken, cherries, buttery almond and cherry Bakewells, stewed apples and caramel fill the nose. The palate offers notes of vanilla sponge, candied orange, baking spices, vanilla cream, blackcurrant, pears and buttered malt loaf that linger in the finish. Inspired by the so-called silver age of comic books, a period that ran from the late 1950s to the early 1970s, The Whisky Exchange creative director Raj 'Mr C' Chavda created the colourful labels for the 2021 Whisky Show bottlings.
